BMW 507 Picture Credits
The photographers and licences behind every picture on bmw-507.com, listed in the order the pictures first appear, with the pages each is on and the address of its file, followed by the embedded videos.

All the pictures on bmw-507.com come from Wikimedia Commons, and each is free to reuse under its licence, or in the public domain, named here as its file page names it. Each is credited beside it on the page, and the list below collects those credits in the order the pictures first appear, with the pages each is on; the videos the pages embed follow, by title, channel and year. Willy Pragher's photographs of Ernst Loof in 1954 and of the Schauinsland hillclimb in 1958 come from the Landesarchiv Baden-Württemberg, under CC BY 4.0, and Joop van Bilsen's of John Surtees at Assen in 1956 from the Dutch Nationaal Archief, under CC0. Pictures may be cropped by their frames, and a crop of a picture under a share-alike licence (BY-SA) is shared under the same licence.
Some captions name a stand-in and say what it shows. The picture at the head of Albrecht von Goertz's page is a detail of a 507's wing (fender), labelled "Stand-in", the picture at the head of the production page is one museum car, labelled the same way, and on the people page a BMW 328, an AFM racing car and a BMW 700 stand beside the entries for Fritz Fiedler, Alex von Falkenhausen and Herbert Quandt. The 328, the 503, the 700 and the other cars that are not 507s, a Nissan Silvia and a Toyota 2000GT among them, are named in their captions as what they are.
